Frank Johnson is a sales consultant at Proctor Subaru who truly cares about his customers and has a passion for the car industry.
Since 1988, Frank has been in the automotive industry. After holding sales positions all of his life, he was inspired to branch into the world of cars, three years after purchasing his!
"In 1985, I was working as an office supply person and needed a new car. I went shopping and bought a Toyota Corolla." Three years later, Frank's life changed after seeing an ad in the newspaper.
"In 1988 I saw an ad for car sales people and turned to my wife and said 'If all the cars are as great as that little Corolla I bought, that would be a great place to sell cars.' My wife said 'Go for it!' And I did." Frank applied for the job on a Monday, was hired that Thursday, and has been in the car business ever since.
It is no surprise Frank has chosen to work as a sales consultant during his career. A true people person, Frank enjoys building relationships with all of his customers and getting the chance to meet fresh faces every day.
"People. Meeting all the people," was Frank's response when asked what he likes most about working in the automotive industry. "I've been in sales, one kind or another, all my life and what I like best is the people. There's someone new everyday and everyone has a story."
In his spare time, Frank enjoys two things most in life: music and food. Frank loves to play his guitar and listen to various genres of music. Cooking and eating are also passions for Frank and while he enjoys a good game of golf from time to time, music and food take up most of his free time.Next time you visit Proctor Subaru, say hi to Frank!
