This past February, Proctor Subaru held the "True Love + True Blood" blood drive event in conjunction with the Southeastern Community Blood Center (SCBC).The event encouraged people in the community to come out and donate blood for a great cause. All donors were entered into a raffle for a chance to win a 40" flat screen television, blue-ray player and seasons 1-3 of HBO's hit show True Blood. Additionally, guests were treated to gift bags, t-shirts, candy and a complimentary Lucy & Leo's cupcake. Thanks to members of the community, we were able to collect around 100 blood donations, and the event was a success! Due to the success of the first event, Proctor Honda recently decided to team up again with SCBC to host the "Bleed Garnet &
Gold Season Kickoff Blood Drive" held on August 20th. Other supporters of the event included X101.5 and 103.1 the Wolf, both of which helped keep guests entertained while waiting to give blood. The first 50 donors at the event received a pair of tickets to the FSU opener against ULM and the grand prize up for grabs was a pair of FSU season tickets. In addition to receiving refreshments, candy, a complimentary Lucy & Leo's cupcake, guests were also treated to a gift bag with Proctor tailgating merchandise. The second blood drive proved to be an even bigger success then the first with 150 blood donations. The Southeastern Community Blood Center recognized the event as one of their greatest in blood drive history!
